Steven was a proud service member of the Marines, he served fighting in the Vietnam War. Steven loved being surrounded by his family and was often the life of the party at any family function.
Steven is survived by his daughters and step-son. Jody (Chad) Oesterreich, Dawn Shaw-Dalbert, Michele (Bruce) Enk, and John Herrera, eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Stuart and Stanley Schilcher. He is further preceded in death by his loving wife Christine Schilcher. His parents Phyllis and Emerson Schilcher and beautiful sister Susan Kay.
Military Honors service will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to your local VFW legion post (Veterans of Foreign War) in memory of LCPL Steven Bruce Schilcher.
