My apologies for being late, but I was just notified of Steve´s passing. I sailed with Steve at ASC for parts of 3 seasons. He had quite a sense of humor, and was probably the best all around watchman that I´ve seen or had the pleasure to work with. Steve was a great shipmate who would help anyone. He was hard working and loved his family. My condolences Schwab family

My favorite memory of my uncle Steve is him lifting me up and bonking my head on grandma carols ceiling everytime he seen me ever since I was a little girl and all the stories of his adventures on the boat and I will never forget the first time I took him to the boat and got to be on it with him in what I used to call the battle wagon my favorite station wagon he always led me ride in the trunk my favorite seat

My favorite memory of Steve is when he married my Aunt Bonnie. That was one of the best weddings ever and was a great memory of Steve and my aunt Bonnie on the happiest night of their being together. I hope they´re reunited in Heaven.
