Steven Samson Seper

Steven Samson Seper, born March 30, 1952, died peacefully at home on June 11, 2023. Steve was surrounded with love on his final day with devoted wife, Pam; his step daughter, Abigail and her husband, Armando Carranza II; and close friends, Mary and Armando Carranza.
Steve was born in Albuquerque, NM; to parents Joseph and Eleanor (Brushett) Seper (predeceased). Steve spent his childhood years in St. Louis, and was a long-time resident of Sarasota, FL. An avid surfer, Steve surfed the Florida beaches and spent several years surfing in Costa Rica. Many strong friendships were forged through the years with this sport. Steve was an Electrical Contractor for 25 years in Sarasota, which also led to many friendships. Those of us fortunate to have known Steve, realize the mold was broken with him and will miss the unique perspective he brought.
Steve also had a deep affection for North Carolina, having built a log home there, surrounded by trees. In 2022, the family relocated to San Antonio to be closer to family and friends.
Private services will be held at St. Benedict Parish Catholic Church in San Antonio. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Surfrider.org.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Sarasota at a later time.
