STEVEN GREG SHANK
January 19, 1963 ˜ December 17, 2025

Steven Greg Shank passed away unexpectedly at home
on December 17, 2025. He was born in Bremerton,
WA to Thomas and Velma Shank on January 19, 1963. Steven moved in 1975 with his family to Vancouver and later graduated from Evergreen High School.
Steven loved riding the bus to Innovative Services,
where he volunteered. He enjoyed following football
and baseball games.
Steven loved his trips on the train to Seattle with his
brother. They visited Chihuly Garden and Glass, The
Museum of Pop Culture, and always The Space Needle,
had lunch on the waterfront, and shopped the stadium
gift shops. The first week of August was a highlight for
Steve. He loved his trips to the Clark County Fair. He
always looked forward to his regular trips to the library
with his brother. And of course, after checking out his
books that meant swinging by Dairy Queen!
Steven enjoyed music, especially Jazz. His knowledge of
music and artists was amazing. He also loved studying
history and current events. He was a kind and gentle
soul. Steve was loved by many and will be truly missed.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas
and Velma Shank. He is survived by his sister Kathleen,
brother Thomas (Kathy), and brother Fred.
A memorial service for Steven will be held at Evergreen
Memorial Gardens on Friday, January 2, at 3:00 p.m.
