Steven Robert Sheldon, born on January 29, 1992, in Milford, Massachusetts, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Temple, Texas. He was a beloved soul, known for his vibrant spirit and dynamic personality.
Raised in Millville, Massachusetts, attended Blackstone Millville Regional High School, graduating in 2010. He later joined the Army, proudly serving for three years with the 84th Engineer Battalion. Following his military service, he returned home and spent several years living in Rhode Island before relocating to Killeen, Texas, approximately four years ago.
In Killeen, Steven worked as a travel agent for LuxRally Travel. His passion for travel allowed him to reconnect with some longtime friends and also forge new friendships across Texas and beyond. His zest for life made him the life of the party, wherever he went. Steven’s friends often referred to him as a “beautiful soul,” a testament to the warmth and love he radiated.
Steven had many interests that enriched his life. He had a deep passion for gemstones and fossils, Country Music, Texas BBQ, and he thoroughly enjoyed gold mining. Additionally, he found fulfillment as a member of a men's church group, engaging in meaningful connection and fellowship.
He is survived by his parents, Paul and Katherine (Jordan) Ouellette of Millville, MA, and his sister, Samantha Lavoie, along with her boyfriend, Marc Ayotte, and her three children, Anabelle Orcutt, Lucas Lavoie, and Julian Lavoie. Steven also leaves behind his brother, Harrison Ouellette, and his girlfriend, Mercy English of Westfield, MA. His loving grandparents, Gary and Patricia Ouellette of Bolivia, NC, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, who will also cherish his memory.He loved his family deeply and will forever be remembered as their guardian angel, watching over them in spirit.
Steven is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Elizabeth Jordan.
Steven’s legacy of joy, adventure, and friendship will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 12-5 pm at 12 White Court in Douglas, MA (Whitinsville Fish and Game Club).
In lieu of flowers please consider making a memorial donation the VFW POST 1820 Disaster Fund attn: Service Officer for the emergency needs of veterans.
Arrangements are under the direction of Comrade, Sabrina Young at Young's Daughters Funeral Home & Bereavement Center in Temple
