So sorry for the families loss of Steven. I have known him since 1970 and he was always a friendly, kind soft spoken soul. He will be missed.

Steven and I were brothers -in-law in 1999, after meeting in 1998. My memories of him are first and foremost his quick wit and sense of humor. I learned early on that I was no match for his wit as he drew much faster than I. Steven always wanted to be an inventor, he had ideas for patterns that he could take home made gadgets and turn them into something useful to make things easier for others.
He loved small engine repairs and was a gifted handy man. I owe him a debt of gratitude for for many years he came to my rescue to fix a snowblower , a lawn mower or chainsaw. He was there for me when I needed him and I regret I didn´t thank him more.
A caring man- loving husband, father and great friend. He had a tender soul and made many laugh with his "speed of light "wit.
Now living in eternal peace, free from life´s pains- he will be with many family members and the day will come when I can share more wit with him.
My prayers of strength and comfort to Darlene, Dawn, Justin, Abbey and uncle Fred...

I started hanging around with back in jr.high, we had a lot of good times. He was an awesome and caring friend, I´m gonna miss him dearly

I met Steve through my husband Dale M Zopf. I enjoyed many gatherings at his sister Darlene's. It was always a joy to see his family.

My condolences to Dawn & the Family for your loss.
I know Dawn from the shipyard, I am so sorry to hear Steven has passed away. May he rest in peace forever!
