I'm so sorry to hear of Steve's (Tugboat) passing. He was always a great friend to me. Memories of our Bartending days will always leave a smile on my face. He was always a protector during our work shifts together. I'm sure your already throwing darts in heaven. You will surely be missed. My deepest condolences to your family and friends. RIP my friend.

Met you at that Naugatuck palace called Dean's. On the boards, many great matches. Won a few, you won a few more. Rest in peace brother.

My sincere condolences to the Smead family for the loss of your brother
And also, to my children. Steven Jr, Kimberly and Jeffrey
I was with your Dad for 18 years. 13 as his wife. You three are above and beyond the greatest gift he could have ever given me.
May the memories you have be blessed ones

Steve was an amazing athlete but more importantly he was a great friend and person. We had lots of good times together and I always enjoyed hanging and playing sports with Steve at SRHS. May he Rest In Peace and my sincere condolences to his family. Til we meet again big guy!

Steve was a very dear friend who I shared thousands of laughs with. We traveled to various dart tournaments around the country to shoot as partners. Naturally, we would often rehash exploits from tournaments in Sarasota, Atlanta, Chicago, etc. Rest In Peace "Stevie Boy". I still smile thinking about our dart shirts we got from our French Canadian friends - Le Smeadster and The Croonster. I´ll miss you pal.

Condolences to the entire Snead Family. Steve and I played football together in high school. He was a fierce competitor but was a gentle soul as well. Our fathers would hang on the fence at games and loved the passion Steve had for the game. After reading about his life, one can believe Steve lived the same way. He was competitive, but would do anything for anyone. May he rest in peace. Forever #76

There are now words. Steve was an icon at Southern I speak of with great pride. He was taken too soon......i'm very sad! I was on the football team as a Sr in 1975.

My deepest sympathy. So sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I was a high school classmate of Steve. We called him "Smudley". A great athlete. RIP Steve.
