Deepest sympathy to Steve's friends and family. We knew him only a short time but even so, he always had a smile and a bear hug, genuinely happy to see us and always making us feel special. He will be missed.

Thee only human I´ve ever met that was open to full 2 sided conversations about anything and everything. Steve was a true friend by every definition. Steve made people around him a better person. So many thoughts, still at a loss for more words. Our hearts go out to Ava, his family, and even better friends.

One of my favorite people to run into at any given time. Always upbeat, positive and made a person feel better about themselves no matter what the circumstances.
I always appreciated Steve's sincerity and respect he showed others in conversation, a trait not easy to maintain these days.
He always put a smile on my face when he would go out of his way to say hello to my mom & dad anywhere he would see them. My dad (88) still remembers Steve and brings his name up occasionally... not looking forward to this conversation with my father.
Let's all try to be the good people Steve says we are.

Here's a photo Tommy G sent me. Thought it should be shared.

So sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was a great guy and I will miss talking sports and life in general with him.

I had the honor and privilege of coaching Steve in basketball. He was a team leader, principled, and humble. His smile, his determination, his attitude are what I remember best about him. He made the team, and others, better just by being himself. I am beyond saddened by this loss. God Bless!
