I did not know about Steve“s passing till I decided to see if he was on Facebook! I met Steve when we moved on his block when I was 11 and he was 13 ! He was always so nice and we played board games a lot! As we all got older and moved out of the neighborhood , we lost contact and went our separate ways with family and work etc , however he came to my brothers calling about 2008 , was so thrilled to see him ! God speed, old friend, you were one of the good guys! My heart goes out to his family , even at this late date !

Steve had a beautiful heart and his memory will certainly live on in all of the lives he touched along the way. Having worked with him over many a year at St. Vincent, I enjoyed hearing the heartfelt comments he'd share about his family, his church and sports.
My heart was touched when Steve and Vivian came to my mother's showing when she passed many years ago. You could tell that such loving-kindness just came naturally.
Steve, I know that you're sitting at the right hand of the Father now and watching over your family. I'll miss you but we'll see you again in heaven.
