Steven Lawrence Walter

Steven Lawrence Walter, 71, of Hampstead, MD passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024 at his home.
Born August 3, 1953 in Reisterstown, MD, he was the son of the late Vernon Royal Walter and Gladys Ermine (née Bosley) Walter. He was the husband of the late Wanda Joan Walter, who died in 2023.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Walter had worked in supply chain logistics for several companies, including Black & Decker, Joseph A. Bank, Masterpower, and Londontowne, among others. He was a former member of the N.R.A. and the North-South Skirmish Association. He enjoyed military history and spent a lot of time on the battlefield of Gettysburg, PA.
Surviving are his daughter, Jessica Walter of Biglerville, PA; grandson, Thomas Groft of Biglerville; sisters, Claudia Hubbard and Susan Ramsey, both of Hampstead; and brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Lisa Walter of Bunker Hill, WV.
Services will be private.
