Gail, it's been many a year since we have seen each other. Chuck and I bought your Highland Springs house back in the early 80's, you guys moved to Chesterfield. I am so sorry for you and Steve that he had Alzheimers. But he's now free from that, and I am sure you feel relieved that he is. The good memories aide us in our recovery, and if memory serves, you are a strong person. Take care of yourself.

Dear Ward Family,
I knew Steve many, many years ago (probably 40). He was always kind and considerate and my memories of him are sweet. I'm so sorry he was stricken with Alzhimer's and you all had to witness his decline, but I'm sure he is looking down at you all with love and faith that you will know he is always with you, in your hearts and in your minds. He will never leave you. My prayers for your strength are with you.

Gail, this is one of your friends from long ago. Beverly (Hartman) Akin. I was perusing the obituaries and was so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my first husband in 1995 and I know the pain of grief. I pray that God will sustain you during this difficult time.

Gail,
Many years have gone pass since last seeing either of you. We had heard about Steve's disease through
Doug. We did share some good times together many years ago and we both will remember the laughs we all enjoyed as well as the friendships.
Take care and may God bless you and keep you in his care as only time helps to ease our pain.
Charlie & Pam Cildress.
