Steven Weinstein

Steve was a great man and a delight to talk to. He watched me grow literally from a kid until that terrible day. Steve had such a powerful persona and was full of energy in everything he did, and he lived always finding a positive way of looking at things. Steve helped people find who they were and who they wanted to be with just talking and listening to them. It is really hard to replace someone as special as Steve, and there was a great loss with such an early departure. I will miss you and continue to remember how special of a person you were to so many people.

You will always be remembered and missed. Rest in peace dear friend.

I worked with Steve for several years and wish I worked with him now. He was a manager when titles meant everything to everyone but him. Honest and a people person where companies did not care about people and being honest. Brillant but he would not let you know it. He is the quiet definition of a mover and shaker. He moved his people to perform IT miracles and he shook the clients with our results. If we all could be like him we would shake the world.

I worked with Steve for many years. He was a mentor and a brilliant, but humble individual whose key driving principle was "Do No Harm". Steve had a terrific career in IT, he also had an MBA from Harvard, but you would never know it by his demeanor. Steve was a pioneer "stay at home dad" raising his only child, a daughter, leaving the work force at the height of his career. Once his daughter grew he went back to work making a difference. Steve impacted many lives with his matter of fact mentoring style, while adding great value in each project for every company. His loss has left a large hole in his family of course. But it left a large hole among his colleagues. Several 100 showed up to his services in 2001. I miss him and not just once a year.

I did not know Steven. I placed a flag in his honor today and wanted to offer my prayers to his family and friends at this difficult time of year. May you rest in peace Mr. Weinstein.

Steve was the reason I have a college degree. Despite his Ivy league education, he encouraged me to pursue my education no matter how long it took, no matter what the means. He said, "It doesn't matter how long it takes, as long as you get it. I am very proud of you." Thank you, Steve. I dedicate my degrees to you. Thank you for being open, honest and without prejuidice.

In memory....

Steven was a brilliant, straight forward type of guy. I learned much from him over the 5-6 years I worked side by side with him. He was indeed a loyal friend and I have missed him ever so much since his death. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and daughter. His loss will never be forgotten.

To Steve's Family, He is still sadly missed by all those who knew him and his kind hearted nature. He was truly a great man with a beautiful soul. May he rest in Peace - With love and very fond memories of his laughter and witty humor. God Bless you in your loss.

To the family and friends of Steven Weinstein: As we prepare ourselves to remember the tragic events of Sept. 11, people and churches all around the world are praying for you. I have the privledge of praying for those who were touched by Steven's life. My family and I have prayed a special novena prayer "To Mary, the Light of Hope" to give hope to those who suffer from injustices, and to honor our memories as we pray for peace. God Bless You.

I did not know you or anyone else who passed away the morning of September 11, 2001. I will never forget what happened and I still can not understand the kind of hate that could do something like this. May God Bless you and the family and friends that you left behind. May you rest in peace forever more.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

Steve was one of the most loyal friends one could have. A proud New Yorker who cultivated friendships like pearls. Brilliant yet down to earth. If the measure of a man can only be taken after his death then you remain kind, polite, optimistic, insightful, serious yet loving like. You were my friend. I love you.
