In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the family.

Steven Douglas Weldon was born to Guy and Myrna Weldon on July 8, 1956. He grew up in Pershing, Iowa. He then attended school in Attica, and Junior High through his senior year at Twin Cedars. Married to his first wife Kathy Woolsey for many years, before marrying his current wife Lisa Graves of 34 years.

He worked at the Big Ben coal mine in Pershing at the age of 17. He was a man of many trades, working at Roll screen, Pella Plastics, and as an independent construction contractor for several years. Alongside that, he had several side jobs working on cars. No matter what line of work Steven could figure out anything he laid his hands on.

The whole family, including Reno, was involved in music with many talents playing any instrument. They were all self-taught and able to play by ear without any sheet music. He was a great history buff. His biggest passions were cars, motorcycles, and old motors. Gathering mushrooms, fishing, and collecting arrowheads were the ways he enjoyed the outdoors.

Steven passed away August 31, 2025. He is survived by his previous wife Kathy Woolsey, and current wife Lisa; children; Kaleb Marshall (Nikki Langlois), Cassy Albee, Kevin Weldon (Madison), Kyle Weldon, Alan Weldon; grandchildren; David, Danielle, Kaylee, Kollin, Temperance, Noah, and Brixley; brothers David and Tom Weldon (Tiffani), sister Angie Vance (Donnie).

He was preceded in death by his parents Guy & Myrna Weldon; sons, Guy & David Weldon; daughter in law, Alexis Miller; brother, Charles Weldon; grandson, Guy Martin.
