Legacy
Steven leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and authenticity. He lived boldly and joyfully, embracing every part of who he was with pride and without apology. A proud member of the LGBTQ community, a loving son, sibling, uncle, cousin and friend, Steven had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. His life was rich with passion for his work as an OR nurse, for his treasured cats who were like his children, and for the beauty he found in Delray Beach sunsets, and music, especially the anthems of Lady Gaga. He was a gifted cook who found joy in preparing meals and bringing people together around the table. Halloween was his favorite holiday, and he made sure to celebrate it in full spirit at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights. Steven taught those around him the importance of living fully, loving deeply, and never passing up a good view or a home-cooked meal. Though he has left this world, his vibrant spirit and the joy he brought to others will continue to shine brightly in every shared memory, every family laugh, and every Delray sunset.
Family
He is devoted Son of Frank and Carol Wexler. Dear brother of Tracey (Josh), and Dana (Ian). Treasured uncle of Brittany (Jon), Katelyn (Calvin), Edward Jr. (Devon), Patrick (Jordyn), Daniel (Sydney), Hailey (Erik), and Nicholas (Emily). Adored great uncle of Gia, Jordyn, CJ, Ava, Sophia, and Edward. He will be greatly missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, June 18th from 9:00AM to 12:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - (Woodbury Location), 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, New Jersey 08096. Interment will be private by the request of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ru4me pet rescue. https://ru4mepetrescue.rescuegroups.org/info/donate.

Steven you will always be such a big part of my heart. Our childhood times roaming the neighborhood is the best part of my memories. Thank you for your friendship ( sisterhood) For all the laughter, conversations, visits and memories I am forever grateful. From childhood through adult hood you were always my greatest joy.
