Steven Tony Michael Williamson, 34, passed away peacefully among family on December 12th, 2025.
In his childhood, he was raised by his mother, Diane Williamson Kotanen, along with his sister Sophie and baby brother Dean. He acted as a protector, a big brother, and a role model. This was evident in the way he took his brother on frequent adventures and defended his sister from school bullies on the bus. Steven was looked up to throughout his later years in life for his funny, charming, and sometimes morbid personality, bringing comfort through humor. He didn't "fear the reaper"; he embraced life every chance he could.
Steven embodied the true spirit of an entrepreneur, with his diverse side hustles and random jobs. He faced every obstacle with a smile and a level head, inspiring those around him. His heart was full of kindness, and his mind was bursting with innovative ideas. Now, I like to think he's in a place where he can pursue an even higher purpose, free to be the unique soul he was. I'm grateful I got to be there for him in the end. I'm honored to have called him my big brother. May he rest peacefully in this life and chase his dreams in the next. You will always be loved and never forgotten.
In his passing, he leaves behind his siblings Sophie, Dean, Desmond, Diego, Sagianna, Ivy, Jake, his mother and stepfather Diane Williamson Kotanen and Kenneth Kotanen, and many more friends and relatives.
Thank you to everyone who was a part of Steven's life. I hope he impacted you in a positive way, and I hope you'll keep his memory in your hearts, allowing his spirit to continue shining as brightly as he did.
