To everyone in the Wilcox family, I send my absolute and deepest of condolences. I just found about this on today's date. As a retired law enforcement officer, I worked with Stevie Wilcox often out at DCA. And it was never less than an enormous pleasure to do so. Everything about the man made you want to be around him. When I knew Stevie was on the case, I had nothing to be concerned about. He was always my professional comfort blanket.
We tend to express how wonderful a person is after their passing, however I would always say these types of things directly to him. And he would always be so appreciative of whatever pleasantries I laid upon him. We had quite the serious bromance going on!
It is incredibly sad knowing that he did not have a chance to enjoy a long retirement. However, the heavens are now the lucky ones. RIP/RIH my good brother!!!
