Stewart Hendricks

Stewart Hendricks, age 83, a lifelong resident of DeLand, FL, passed away at home surrounded by family, on March 6th. He was a 1960 graduate of DeLand High School and attended Daytona Beach Junior College before joining the U.S. Army. He was a life member of DeLand Elks Lodge #1463. He retired in 1994 after thirty years with the County of Volusia. He was predeceased by his mother, Katherine S. Odham, his stepfather Billy Odham, his brother Houston Hendricks, and his sister Betsy Louise Copeland. He was survived by his wife Nancy, his son and daughter-in-law James (Buff) Hendricks and Melanie Hendricks, and two granddaughters. Special thanks to all of the Halifax Hospice Team who provided for his care. They are truly angels on earth. At Stewart's request, there will be a private family graveside service.
