Stockey Morris Obituary
Stockey Lee Morris, a cherished member of the Covington, GA community, passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on May 4, 1958, in Covington, he was a proud graduate of Newton High School and spent his career at Bibb Manufacturing Company. His dedication to his work was matched only by his unwavering love for his family and his warm sense of humor that endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Stockey is survived by his three children, Mr. and Mrs. Notorian (Yolanda) Morris, Mr. Jarrod Morris, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald (Nerissa) Rhines, along with his eight beloved grandchildren: Erin, Natoria, Javonte, Jordan, Gerald Jr., Dru, Jayce, and Tristan. He is also survived by his sisters, brothers, cousins and friends.
A memorial service to honor Stockey Lee Morris will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, 2:00 P.M. at New Hope Baptist Church, 2207 Brown St. Covington, GA. Pastor Harold Miller, Eulogist. Family and Friends will assemble at the church at 1:45 P.M.
As we remember Stockey, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with warmth, joy, and an abiding love for family and friends. His spirit will continue to inspire those he has left behind.
