Storm Domingo Mote, age 18, of Greenville, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025, in Troy, Ohio.
He was born on November 10, 2006 in Greenville to Jeremy and Mary Mote.
In addition to his parents, Storm is survived by his brothers, Phoenix Mote and Rene Hernandez; his sisters, Hunter Mote and Raven Mote; and his grandparents, Minerva Chavez and Elaine and Allan Mote.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Domingo Chavez.
Storm was a 2025 graduate of Mississinawa Valley High School, where he proudly played football and ran track. He was known by his teammates and coaches for his determination, drive, and willingness to push himself and others to do their best. Whether on the field or in the weight room, Storm gave his all, always striving to improve and encouraging those around him to do the same. His competitive nature was matched by his sense of humor and his ability to lift others' spirits, no matter the situation.
Outside of school, Storm had many passions. He loved fishing, weightlifting, and working out-activities that gave him a sense of peace, purpose, and focus. He found joy in the simple moments, like spending an afternoon by the water with a fishing pole in hand or setting a new personal record in the gym. He could often be found pestering his brother Phoenix, his best friend and closest companion. The two shared a bond that was unbreakable; they were rarely apart and always had each other's backs. Storm's caring heart and protective nature extended to everyone he loved, and those who knew him best will always remember his warmth, humor, and the way he made people feel seen and appreciated.
He recently returned from a month-long trip to San Antonio, Texas, a place he quickly fell in love with for its food, weather, and especially the fishing. He had even considered returning there in the near future.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mississinawa Valley High School, Football Athletic Program.
