Stuart Ladin

Stuart Ladin, 84, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 9, 2025. Beloved husband and best friend of Linda (née Ray) for 58 wonderful years; loving father of Andrea (Mark) Glazier and Stephanie Evans; cherished "Papa" of Benjamin, Hannah, Eva, and Daniel Glazier, and Ross, Cole, and Gwenyth Evans. Much-loved brother of Larry (Barbara) and brother-in-law of Betty Ray; treasured uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many. Stuart earned his chemistry degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and began his career as a chemist at Baxter. While working there, he completed an MBA at the University of Chicago, later working in the packaging of household chemicals and cosmetics. When not with his beloved family, Stuart could most often be found on the tennis court. A devoted singles and doubles player, he was known as a true gentleman of the game-calm, steady, gracious, and always in motion. Even in retirement, his strong work ethic continued as he remained active working part-time as a packaging consultant and at the Sachs Recreation Center. Stuart was always impeccably dressed and had a wonderful sense of style, paired with a warm sense of humor that made people smile. He will be dearly missed. Memorial donations in his name may be made to the Jewish United Fund (juf.org) or the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
