I didn't know you personally but rip

Hi my name is Nikki Rodriguez and I'm 16 years old. Even though I did not know Stuart I wanted to pay tribute to him. I researched his name because in honor of the people who died on 9/11 my school gave every student a card with some ones name who died in the World Trade Center and Stuart's name was on my card. My prayers go out to his family, may God Bless you all.

Very few days go by that I don't think about Stu and a beautiful life cut tragically short. Doy - we miss you.

Mr.Louis. I saw your beautiful family today. You'd be so proud, A College Grad and one starting college. You will not be forgotten.

In memory....

As I stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

I didnt know you but my kids knew Evan from sschool. They attended the same school in 2001. I recently was at the school and saw the bench honoring your bravery .. it is a tragedy. I dont know how your family goes on ... knowing that you rest in Heaven is reasssuring... my heart truly goes out to Evan who is in the dsame grade as my son, and Kara.

May you rest in peace.

Your name while on Earth meant "Thunder." Your soul is now up above, nearer to where thunder originates, and with the Creator. May you live in Peace, and may the Creator's blessings shine on your family and loved ones still here on Earth.

God bless this family in the wake of such a tragedy. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Professional Loyal to Colleagues, Family

Nov. 20, 2001

Stuart Seid Louis was the consummate
professional. A successful investment banker
and impeccable dresser, he always made time
in his work day for lunch with his father.

Louis rose through the ranks to become a
managing director at Sandler O'Neill &
Partners, where he had worked for more than
a decade.

"One of Stuart's hallmarks at work was his
professionalism. He was a complete
professional in every way, not only extremely
bright and competent, but a wonderful team
player and someone everyone liked," said Joe
Longino, a colleague and principal at Sandler
O'Neill.

Louis had a sense of style and believed that
dressing well was important in the New York
corporate world.

But beneath the custom suits, it was his
kindness and respect toward others that
colleagues remember.

"He was not the kind of person who ever let his
temper get out of control, or who would
embarrass someone else in the course of
working with them. His notion of
professionalism included treating people with
respect," Longino said.

Louis, 43, was Chinese-American and grew up
in New York City. He lived in East Brunswick,
N.J., with his wife, Sharon and their two
children, Kara and Evan.

At least once a week, he took time to meet his
father for lunch in the city.

Among his family, his nickname was "doy," a
Chinese term of affection that means son or
boy.

Longino met Louis in 1987, when both worked
at the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York,
where Louis was a financial analyst.

Louis joined Sandler O'Neill two years later.
He rose to the senior position of managing
director, and co-headed the balance sheet
management group.

An avid Yankee fan, he had recently taken up
golf.

"He had a dry, understated sense of humor,"
Longino said. "He very often had a twinkle in
his eye."
