Stuart Coleman Mayo

Stuart was born on January 27, 1933 and passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015. Stuart was a resident of Harlingen, Texas at the time of his passing. He graduated from HM King High School in Kingsville as the Valedictorian and later graduated from Texas A & I University as the Salutatorian with a BA in Accounting. He later served in the United States Army where he was a Specialist Third Class/Army Auditor. He is survived by his wife Gertrude. Visitation hours will be held from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the family receiving guests from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, August 17, 2015 at the funeral home. A celebration of Stuart's life will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Harlingen, 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 18, 2015 with the Rev. David Payne officiating. Private burial will be held at Mont Meta Memorial Park. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Loaves & Fishes, 514 S.
