Sue Batts

Sue was born on March 23, 1947 and passed away in December 2017. Sue was a resident of Federal, Ohio at the time of passing. She earned a Gates Family Foundation scholarship in 1965 at high school graduation and completed a BA in 1969 and an MA in 1970 from the University of Denver. Sue taught for one year at the United States Air Force Academy school district in Colorado Springs before marrying the love of her life, Gary Batts on June 19, 1971, and joining him at Indiana University where he was in graduate school. A memorial service will be held at Park Church UCC on Saturday, January 6 at 2pm.
