Sue Bunch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Meredith-Clark Funeral Home - Morgantown on Jun. 12, 2025.
Sue Ellen (Sattler) Bunch, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, June 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at IU Bloomington Hospice House. On this day, she celebrated her 76th birthday, a poignant reminder of the joy and love she brought into the lives of those around her.
Sue was born June 11, 1949 in Indianapolis, to her parents, the late Charles Edward and Bernice Marie (Cox) Sattler. She was a 1968 graduate of Brown County High School.
Throughout her life, Sue dedicated herself to various roles in the service and hospitality industries in the Nashville and Columbus areas, where her warm smile and kind spirit left a lasting impression on all who met her.
She was a member of the Bloomington Archery Club and enjoyed planting flowers and taking care of her dogs. Above all, Sue treasured the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Sue will be missed by her husband of 32 years Jack Bunch, whom she married in July 1993. She will also be missed by her children, Wayne (Cheryl) Baker of Columbus, Anna (Sean) Cassiday, Susan Lutes and Shannan Baker all of Nashville; step children Michael (Sarah) Bunch of Indianapolis and Michell Fisher of Columbus, brother Glenn (Joy) Sattler of Brown County, grandchildren: Derek (Haley) Baker, David and Claire Baker, Meghan, Liam and Aislinn Cassiday, Brandon, Nevada, Christopher, Sean and Miranda Lutes, Amber Baker, Brody Long, Marissa Long, Courtney and Greyson Bunch, Maddie Stutz, Barrett Shroyer and Shanda Reeves; and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Charles "Bud" Sattler and son-in-law Chuck Lutes.
Pastor Allen Colwell will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at Brown County Presbyterian Fellowship: 602 N State Rd 135 in Nashville. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow at Brown County Memorial Park Cemetery in Nashville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.
Condolences may be sent to the family at meredith-clark.com.

Another BC Eagle soaring high. Sue always recognized me when we would meet up. We would converse about all topics. She was a pleasant person to know. To all family members, we offer our condolences.

I've know Sue since she was 16. I can remember riding in her 1957 Chevy going up curvy uphill roads in the State Park and sliding backwards...a great day of kids doing things around here back in the 60's. She was always kind to me, talkative and fun to "run into" through the years. Condolences to Glen, her brother.
R.I.P, dear Sue!
