Sue C. Butcher, 84, of Chapmanville, WV, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, November 13, 2022, surrounded by her family.
She was born February 19, 1938, the daughter of the late Arch and Rose (Hagy) Dye.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jackie Butcher in 2011. Also preceding her in death were five brothers, Bentley, Howard, Jack, Jerry, and Otis Dye.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Nick) Nixon, Sharon (Rick) Dingess, Darlene (Doug) Dingess, Justine (Bobby Dale) Akers, and Stephanie (Junior) Allison; one son, Jackie Allen (Deanna) Butcher; her loving sister, Linda (Ken) Kleeman; a very special sister-in-law, Brenda Butcher; grandchildren, Jeanetta Esworthy, Tiffany (Ben) Lieb, Rick (Michelle) Dingess, Tammy Griffin, Tessa (Jerry) Mann, Dougie (Beth) Dingess, Justin Dale (Britney) Akers, Shayne Butcher, Brennon Butcher, and Cacey Butcher; 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and one nephew, Tim Dye-Noble.
Sue was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and community.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Johnny Steele and Pastor Jerry Mann officiating.
Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
