Sue A. Cornell, age 74, of Beaverton, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026. She was born on February 21, 1952, the daughter of James Simpson and Marilyn Matteson, in Royal Oak, MI. On April 28, 1979, she married Ronald Cornell. Together, they shared 46 years filled with love and cherished memories. Sue loved the outdoors, enjoying camping trips and side-by-side rides. Most of all, she loved supporting her grandchildren in their sports endeavors.
She is survived by her beloved husband: Ron; children: Shane (April) Cornell and Lisa Cornell; grandchildren: Dominick and Danielle Cornell; and in-laws: Darlene Leosh, Duane Cornell, Tim Cornell, and Ed Loar.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Simpson.
The family would like to extend their thanks to Medilodge of Midland and Advisacare Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Sue during her time with them.
