While watching the photos at the reception after Sue's service I was reminded of the last scene from the movie "Michael." In it Michael and Pansy dance their way home to heaven to Van Morrison singing "The Bright Side of the Road." Sue lived a full life, and I am fortunate to have known her.

I´m so sad Sue has gone to be with the Lord. Selfish reasons only. She was read to meet our great God. She made me the most beautiful prayer blanket. She always had time for me no matter what she was going through. Welcome home Sue, you will be so missed. Love you

Sue and I worked together for eleven years. She was an amazing cook, having been a caterer in the past. She knitted prayer shawls for anyone she knew who might be in pain. Everyone in my immediate family has one. She loved to share stories of her past. She sang torch songs when young and was thrilled to watch Katherine's progress as a singer and songwriter. She was immensely proud of her daughter and had one of her cds playing in the background most of the time while she worked. She was a true woman of faith and always told me how much she loved me and my husband, naming specific things she appreciated, and prayed for me when we visited after we both retired. It's easy to imagine her singing with angels and thoroughly enjoying a heavenly feast. I will surely miss her.

So many of my best childhood memories featured Sue and Katherine, and I am grateful for that time. Much love.

By that Heaven that bends above us-by that God we both adore-
Tell this soul with sorrow laden if, within the distant Aidenn,
It shall clasp a sainted maiden whom the angels name Lenore-
Clasp a rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore."
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."

I am saddened by the loss of my cousin, Sue. I loved her for her big heart, the warmth she had for her friends and her generosity. Moreover, she was a loving and dedicated mother. I hold so many memories.
