SPRINGFIELD – Sue Elaine Gentis, 78 of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025 in Vancrest of Urbana.
Sue was born on Dec. 14, 1946 in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Dean and Mabel (Moore) Wilson.
Sue was a graduate of Graham High School, Class of 1964. After 47 years of hard work and service, Sue retired as the head cook at Graham. She was also an active member of the Graham Boosters for many years, as well as a member of the Concord Methodist Church.
Sue is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ronald F. Gentis; sons, Charles (Lori) Gentis, Greg (Kelli) Gentis, Scott (Amy) Gentis; grandchildren, Ashley, Annie, Allie, Ethan, Kirbie, Abi, Samantha; sister, Carol (Dale) Bates; brother, David (Pam) Wilson; aunt, Kay Moffit; great-grandson, Sutton; several nieces and nephews; as well as a special friend, Sandy Detwiler.
Sue is preceded in death by her infant son, Brian; her parents, Dean and Mabel Wilson; and her uncles, Max (Betty) Moore and Ron Moffit.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025 in the Concord Cemetery, Urbana, Ohio, with Pastor Herman Dick officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio.
