Suellen Waldvogel

Suellen "Sue" Waldvogel, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025, at the University of Maryland. Born on December 29th, 1949, in Baltimore, Maryland, Suellen lived a life full of love, devotion, and service to her family and community.

Sue dedicated her working years to the service industry as a waitress, where she was known for her charm and efficiency. Outside of her profession, Sue's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Her grandchildren, Gavin and Makayla, and her great-grandchild, Ellie, were the light of her life. There was nothing she loved more than cheering on Gavin at his baseball games or participating in activities that involved her beloved grandchildren.

Sue was fiercely devoted to her family and was known for her outspoken and straightforward nature. She touched the lives of many with her willingness to offer help to anyone in need. Her family was her world, and she gave her all to ensure their happiness and well-being.

She is survived by her loving children, Perry Waldvogel and his wife Kim, and Laurie Waldvogel. Her siblings, Gina Robertson and Shelly Wagonhoffer, also survive her, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Gavin and Makayla, and her precious great-grandchild, Ellie. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Eugene Funk and Mildred Elizabeth Funk, her brother, Kenneth Edward Funk, and her sister, Becky Funk.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. A funeral service to honor Suellen's life will be held on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, at 11:00 am, also at Stallings Funeral Home.

Sue Waldvogel will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to her loved ones and her vibrant spirit. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her name, to continue her legacy of giving and support to those in need.
