We met several times and talked a lot on the phone. I am glad you were my friend. The world has lost a fine gentleman. Heartfelt condolences to your family.

I got to meet you once while you visited King Abdul-Aziz Air Base (KAAAB), Saudi Arabia. You greeted and thanked all of the American troops and we all enjoyed fellowship together and drank hot tea for the rest of the afternoon. Thanks for the morale booster.
