Sunny "Shine" Sriboonreuang

Sunny Sriboonreuang, of Storm Lake, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday morning, August 6, 2025. Funeral services will take place Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in ALTA. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, August 15, 2025 from 6-9:00 p.m. at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in STORM LAKE. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements. Sunny "Shine" Sriboonreuang was born on August 12, 1994, in Stockton, California, to Mun Khalek and Ta Sriboonreuang. Sunny will be remembered as the man who carried sunshine wherever he went. His endless humor and gift for cooking filled every room with warmth, making the world feel a little lighter. He always put his loved ones first, finding time to offer guidance and support. A spontaneous spirit, Sunny embraced the moment and the joy of simply being together . . . although he made sure everyone followed his detailed itinerary. Sunny had a love for music. Inspired Minds was Sunny's heart and soul. It was a vision born in high school that blossomed into a lifelong endeavor. Through Inspired Minds, Sunny provided artists access to lyrical writing, studio sessions, videography, photography, and vital connections that opened doors to performance opportunities. For Sunny, Inspired Minds was more than a business-it was a community where talent was nurtured, voices were heard, and dreams were given wings. Sunny leaves the world with this quote, "Music is medication. Only thing that keeps me sane the reason I'm dedicated I hope they go and play it, remember what I was saying Cuz all I ever tried to do was inspire a generation.". Sunny was preceded in death by his niece, MaryRosary Serenity Kotsiomitis-Sriboonreuang. He is survived by his mother - Mun Khalek, father - Ta Sriboonreuang, brothers - Som "Peter" Sriboonreuang and Sammy Sriboonreuang [Nicole], sister - Trinity Michelle Khalek, cousin - Souphanh "Vanida", nephew and nieces: Deklin, Davina, Dalilah, and Darla, and friends: Batman [Shante], LightzOut [Nena], Jer [Sandy], Alex, Dion, and Erick [Ocegueda family]. Sunny will be missed by countless other family members and friends.
