Susan D. Adams, age 73, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, at Stanley Aspirus after a courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

The beloved daughter of Elmer and Ruby (Hanish) Dachs, Susan Diane was born on November 9, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from Bay View High School and went on to build a long and dedicated career as a draftsperson for Industrial Air Products.

Susan was known for her boundless creativity, which she expressed through all forms of crafting. She had a deep love for flower gardening, tending to her blooms with care and joy. A passionate thriftier, Susan delighted in the hunt for hidden treasures. Her kitchen was always filled with warmth, as she cooked and baked with love for anyone and everyone who came through her door.

Above all, Susan loved and cherished her family-especially her granddaughter, Grace, who held a special place in her heart.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Mickey Jo Adams (Allen Thorne); two grandchildren, Brandon (Marissa) Hoernke and Dallas Adams; and two great-granddaughters, Zoey Joswiak and Grace Hoernke. She is further survived by one brother, Mike Dachs, and one sister, Kathy Tripke.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ruby; two sisters, Shirley Gelinski and Judy Hanish; and two brothers-in-law, Chuck Tripke and Dick Gelinski.
