Susan R. Allen (Amos)

Susan R. Allen (Amos) of Athens, ME, formerly of Dedham and Westwood, passed away on September 12th at the age of 85. She was raised in Dedham and a longtime resident of Westwood before moving to Athens, ME. Sue was a very creative person with many talents. She was often found in her garden or in her yard feeding the birds which was her daily ritual for her feathered friends. She was the daughter of the late Henry P. and Caroline M. Amos, wife of the late E. William Allen and grandmother of the late James Woelfel. Mother of Julliette Allen of Athens ME and Gina Woelfel of Walpole, grandmother of 5 and great-grandmother of 1. Loving sister of Stephen A. Amos, Peter G. Amos and Caroline M. Barry of Dedham, Jeanne M. Mitchell of Foxboro, David M. Amos of Greene, ME, Paul J. Amos of Wolf Creek, MT and the late Ethel C. Orleans, Henry R. Amos and James R. Amos. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
