Susan Cady Johnson

Susan (Sue) Cady Johnson of Bowie, MD, daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth M. Cady, passed away on March 3, 2026 at the age of 69. Sue retired as an Engineering Technician after a long career with the Naval Ordnance Laboratory and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock MD. Sue is survived by her beloved son Kenny E. Johnson, brothers Raymond (Mike) Cady (Sue), Patrick K., and Timothy Brian Cady and sisters Kathleen M. Grudberg (Bob) and Karen C. Turner (Bob).She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 11 a.m., at Sacred Heart Chapel, 16501 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD. A reception following the ceremony will be held at the American Legion Disney-Bell Post 66, 9605 Old Laurel-Bowie Road, Bowie, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sue's name can be made to the Partnership for Animal Welfare, paw-rescue.org/donations.
