Yesterday

We had the pleasure of hosting Sue in our home when my sister, Karen Hafner, would come to visit from Minnesota. I knew her only through Karen when we were growing up in Santa Barbara, but not nearly to the same extent as Karen.

It was a delight to have her and her dog, Ollie, here on several occasions. Ollie and our dog, Grace, had a good time together. Ollie is the little one in the photo. Sue was always so gracious and my family enjoyed the time with her as well.

We know she is at peace and resting comfortably in the arms of Jesus, but we on earth will certainly miss her great smile and loving demeanor.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all her friends and family during this difficult time.

Sue and I met the very first day of seventh grade. I went up to her and introduced myself and that was it. Our life began together. I always felt like part of the family. I was just another kid hanging out. Always felt that she just had this sunshine over her all the time. I will always remember our shenanigans and hanging out at the pit. I will miss seeing you when I visit Texas, my family will miss you. They all loved you very much. Rest in peace my sweetsue. I´ll see you there someday, your very best friend Karen. (Hafner)
