Susan Louisa Christmas (nee Wyse), 67, entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 27, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Susan was born on October 22, 1958 in Montreal, Quebec to her parents, Robert Nicholson Wyse and Barbara Mary Wyse (nee Vrooman). She and her sister, Jane, were very close and cherished many happy moments together throughout their childhood.
Susan grew up in Quebec City, Quebec, and attended Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
She worked for Gordon Food Services as a financial analyst before retiring. In retirement, she devoted herself to her husband and to raising her two children, which was her greatest joy.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Wyse and Barbara Wyse, brother- and sister-in-law, Cameron and Marilyn Christmas.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Reginald Christmas; her children, Sara Christmas and Remy Christmas; her sister, Jane Wyse; her brother-in-law, Keith Christmas (Michelle); her nieces and nephews, Lindsay Holman (Chris), Nicholas Stewart, Christopher Stewart, Adrienne Christmas, Rhys Christmas, and Jake Christmas; and her great-niece and great-nephew, Zoey Holman and Charlie Holman.
There will be a memorial visitation on Thursday, December 4, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Platt’s Funeral Home at 337 North Belair Road Evans, Georgia 30809.
