When he passed in 2018, she moved to North Dakota to be with her daughter and become "Grandma Susie" to her daughter's stepdaughters.
Susie was preceded in death by her mother, Harriet; father, Perry; brother, Peter; sister, Virginia; and two dogs, Daisy and Geneva.
