Susan Elaine Dean

Susan M. Dean, age 63, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5 at 8:34 a.m., surrounded by her loving family.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, William Lonzo Dean; her daughter, Shannon Lee Dean; her son-in-law, Kevin Joe Wood; her parents, Bobby Gray and Joy Lee Gray; and her sisters, Bobbie Joy Crandall, Carole Monshizadeh, and Kaye Elizabeth Hall.

She is survived by her husband, David Bench; her children, Latasha Wood, Casie Myers, Bret Bench, Jeremy Bench, and Hannah Bell; along with extended family and loved ones who will cherish her memory.

Susan dedicated the majority of her professional life to ASC Industries, where she was known for her strong work ethic and commitment. In recent years, she devoted herself fully to her home and family, a role she held close to her heart.

Family was the center of Susan's life. She deeply enjoyed sitting, talking, and spending time with those she loved. She also found great joy and peace in the ocean, which reflected her calm spirit and love for life's simple, meaningful moments.

Susan will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her quiet strength, and the warmth she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
