Susan M. Deblois

Susan (Sue) M. Siptrott Deblois, went home to be with the Lord and her family on May 16, 2013. Susan was born to Paul R. Siptrott and Mary Ann Andriani on December 1, 1952, in Manhattan, NY. They predeceased her in April and May 2003. In June 1992, she married Paul Thomas DeBlois in St. Anne's Church, Whitesboro and shared a 20 plus year union. She enjoyed her pet cats, birds and loved knitting and crocheting which enabled her to bring the special gift of prayer, God's comfort, and His love. She made shawls, laprobes, baby blankets, and prayer cloths for the St. Paul's Prayer Shawl Ministry. Sue also made and collected hats for their Christmas project. Susan is survived by her loving husband, Paul; four brothers, Richard, Mark (Connie), Steven (Linda), Mike (Kris); 2 sisters, Ellen Herrera (Marvin) and Lisa Pavia, extended family Judy Lytle, Patti DeBlois, Mary Keiser, Cathy (Bob) Congdon, and Greg. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and predeceased by one nephew, Anthony Pavia. She was predeceased by 2 brothers-in-law, Richard Lytle and Richard Keiser and one sister in law Sister Sharon DeBlois with the Consolata Missionary Sisters in 2002. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Luteran Home and the Siegenthaler Hospice Center for the wonderful care they gave to Susan during her illness. The funeral will be on Monday at 11:30 at St. Paul's Church, Whitesboro, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams Edmunds Funeral Home, Whitesboro. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation to St. Paul's Prayer Shawl Ministry.
