Susan K. DeMuth, 75, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 3, 1950, to Donald and Marie (Warns) Lowry. Susan graduated from Lake High School and later obtained her associate degree from Stautzenberger College. On October 23, 1970, she married the love of her life, Leonard F. DeMuth. Susan managed several medical practices throughout her career. Early on Susan enjoyed ceramics with her mom and completed several art design courses at the Toledo Museum of Art. She also enjoyed bowling, camping, boating and playing euchre with friends. She enjoyed travel to Australia, Hawaii, Mexico and many other places. Susan was a NASCAR fan rooting for Darrell Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt Jr. She was also an animal lover, but what she cherished most was her loving family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Scott (Hassie) DeMuth; daughter, Tiffany (John) Nauman; grandchildren, Kylie, Scott Jr., Devin, Dillon, Alexandria and Austin; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Gary (Denise) Lowry and many other loving family members. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Leonard; and her sister, Becky Cole.
Friends and family may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 2:00 p.m.-8:00-p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Susan's name may be directed to the Toledo Humane Society.
