Susan Dockray

Susan Lynn Dockray, 57, of Emory Street, Attleboro, passed January 15, 2012 in Sturdy Memorial Hospital. She was the loving soul mate of Tony Caponigro of Attleboro Born in Boston on February 2, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Costa and Alice Jane (Kiley) Christie. Susan was a graduate of Canton High School and a graduate of Wilfred Beauty Academy. She owned and operated Alice Jane's Beauty Salon in Attleboro for many years. She also worked as a real estate agent. Susan was a volunteer for New Hope and was a member of the Quota Club years ago. She was a very loving and giving person who cared for others. She was a long time advocate for the homeless. . In addition to her soul mate Tony, Susan is survived by a daughter; Christine Drew and her husband Richie of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, a son; Michael J. Dockray, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, her beloved siblings; Karen Burman and her husband Howie of Norton, MA and David Christie and his wife Lisa of East Greenwich, RI, four grandchildren; Kennedy, Richie, Christopher, and Caroline Drew, her nieces and nephews; Noelle, Nicole, Cori, Taylor, Alex, Nicholas, and Logan, and many other devoted family members. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 23rd at 10:30 AM in Holy Ghost Church, 71 Linden Street, Attleboro. Burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
