Susan Dodds Dunn, 75, of Deltona Fl passed at Advent Fish Hospital in Orange City, FL Wednesday November 26,2025.

Susan was born October 4, 1950, in Steubenville, Ohio, to Edward P. Dodds and Juanita B. (Ross) Dodds. Though originally from New Cumberland and Weirton, West Virginia, Susan called Deltona, Florida, home for the last 18 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter and son in law April (Doug) Moore, and her brother Ed Dodds.

Susan is survived by her husband, Joseph W. Dunn of Deltona, FL, her daughter, Mrs. Anita (John) Glad of Lexington, NC (formerly of Cranberry Twp., PA); her stepson, Joe Dunn ( and family )of Colorado; her sisters, Monah (David) Jacobs of New Cumberland, WV/Deltona, FL and Amber (Ray) Miller of Commerce, GA; an abundance of nieces, nephews, extended family, and her beloved fur baby, Dexter.

Susan's greatest joy was her grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply. She was endlessly proud of Ms. Ashley Mulcahey of Leonardtown, MD; Mrs. Wesley (Brad) Zaffuto of Cranberry Twp., PA; Mr. Tyler Cattrell of Deltona, FL; Ruby (Lucas) O'Brien of Steubenville, OH; Her great-grandchildren - Peyton, Gianni, and Luca Zaffuto; Grant and Cordelia Mulcahey; and AJ O'Brien - filled her life with happiness.

During her life, Susan worked as a seamstress, bartender and server, . She was a talented crafter who could sew or create just about anything. Cooking and baking were second nature to her, and she always knew a recipe by heart. Christmas was her favorite holiday; Susan went above and beyond decorating her home and yard every year. She enjoyed playing bingo with her dear friend Judy, loved everything Winnie the Pooh, and treasured every moment with her family - whether traveling, visiting Disney, playing cards, or watching her grandchildren open presents.

As Susan wished, cremation will be handled by Baldauff Funeral Home, Orange City Fl, with a celebration of her life planned for a future date.

Memorial donations may be made to Veterans Affairs hospitals or your local VFW. Susan spent countless hours volunteering at the VFW and supporting her husband through his cancer battle, and these organizations were a true blessing to their family.

Yesterday

Susan you will be missed so much. Your smile and great sense of humor will always be remembered. I have such fond memories of bingo at the VFW. Your pain is gone. Your physical restrictions have set you free. As Cody would say, the sky has a new star and Heaven has another Angel.
Love, Pauline and Cody Crofton.
