Sue "Emma" Erdmann, 67, beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on December 13, 2025, in Milwaukee, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 9, 1958, in
Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the daughter of Dick and Doris (Boese) Otto. Sue's life was a testament to love, laughter, and living life to the fullest.
Sue was highly organized and analytical, talents she put to good use during her career with Ascension Medical Group, where she worked for over 30 years. She worked her way up from an entry-level position to Manager of Clinic and Hospital Billing in the Fox Valley and was ultimately promoted to oversee the Milwaukee market.
Sue's passions included socializing, traveling, cats, and biking. After retiring several years ago, she pursued her love of international travel with more determination than ever. She especially enjoyed warm destinations and planned multiple trips every year to Mexico and other sunny locations with her friends and family. There she enjoyed meeting new people, taking in beautiful scenery, and soaking up the warmth she cherished.
Closer to home, Sue got her exercise and released tension via bike rides through the countryside several times each day throughout the year. A devoted cat lover, she found constant companionship and comfort in her feline friends who truly were a part of her family. Sue was also a loyal sports fan, cheering passionately for the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers, never missing an opportunity to support her teams.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Karl; siblings Sandra Perez & Stacey (Dennis Rioux) Otto; sister-in-law Carol Linder; brothers-in-law Gary (Cathy) Erdmann & Wayne Erdmann; many nieces and nephews, and her special pet cats Gus and Bynx.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Sue's memory will live on through her family and friends, whose lives were enriched by her "life of the party" attitude and positive energy.
Sue's family is deeply grateful to the caring physicians, nurses, and staff at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee for their compassion and support.
