Seekonk – Susan (Amaral) Gaucher, 54, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, November 8, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Scott G. Gaucher.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Barbara A. Csiar of Jamestown, Rhode Island and the late William G. Amaral. Susan had resided in Seekonk for over thirty years.
She was a Registered Nurse and had been employed at Life Care Center, Attleboro, The Miriam Hospital and Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence, RI.
Susan adopted many special needs animals over the years. She loved Transformers, horror movies and gardening.
Besides her husband and mother, she leaves two loving sons, Mathew G. Gaucher and Adam J. Gaucher, both of Seekonk; a brother, Russell Amaral of Jamestown, RI; her mother-in-law, Carol Gaucher of Seekonk; and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lee and Charlie Cabral of Seekonk. She also leaves Sandra and James Eldridge of Attleboro and her best friends, Shannon, Dina and Jodi.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Seekonk Dexter Avenue Cemetery, Seekonk, Massachusetts.
