Susan (Fascione) Greco, age 93, longtime Waterbury resident, passed away peacefully with her daughter and granddaughter by her side on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the comfort of her home. She was the wife of the late Frank Greco.
Born in Waterbury on August 15, 1932, Susan was the daughter of the late Crescenzo and Rosa (Bove) Fascione. A graduate of Wilby High School, she worked as an accountant for the City of Waterbury in the Tax Office for 20 years. Earlier in her career, she spent several years in retail at Grandway and later worked as a bank teller at Waterbury Savings Bank.
Susan was a devoted fan of the UCONN Women's Basketball team, the New York Mets, and the New York Giants. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed spending time working on jigsaw puzzles. Above all, Susan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished the many trips and cruises she shared with her daughter and granddaughter.
Susan is survived by her daughter Susan Pronovost and her beloved granddaughter Rosemary Pronovost of Belton, SC with whom she made her home. She also leaves her sister Carmella Siconolfi, as well as several nieces and nephews including Barbara Clark, Susan ElZenny, Cynthia Shea and her husband Richard, and Thomas Siconolfi and his wife Deborah. Susan was predeceased by her son-in-law Francis Pronovost, her brother Michael Fascione, and her sisters Lucille Buono, Helen "Elena" Primus Delfino, and Louise DiNicola.
A calling hour will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. at Maiorano Funeral Home, 95 Willow St., Waterbury with a service beginning at 12:00P.M. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
