Susan Phyllis Haga

Susan Phyllis Haga,64, born on December 20, 1960, in Akron, OH, passed away peacefully at home on September 20, 2025, with her family by her side. As an accomplished accountant, Susan dedicated many years to her career, working for various corporations before retiring. She held an Associate Degree in Accounting, a testament to her hard work and commitment to her profession.

Susan was a beloved sister to Juanita Davis (Stanley), Sabrina Howard (David), and James Haga. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Victor Haga, Tanya Ward (Jamie), Alan Stanley, Jennifer Tillman (Erik), Joshua Suttles (Marybeth), Amanda McElroy (Nathan), Zack Howard (Jamie), and Colby Howard. Additionally, she cherished her great-nieces and nephews: Nathaniel Stanley, Andy Stanley, Lynden Tillman, Ashley Tillman, and Stetson Howard.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, James Philip Haga and Mabel Lee Burleson Haga, and her sister, Karen Stanley.

Susan took great pride in her family. She had a passion for gardening and found joy in spending time with her pets. Her love for her family and interests enriched her life and the lives of those around her. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

A private family gathering to celebrate Susan’s life will be held at a later date.
