Susan Ann Harville, 75, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Horton officiating. Burial will be at Rutherford Cemetery.
Born on January 25, 1949, to EC Gordon and Estelle Gregory Gordon. Susan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was the Worthy Matron of Hatton's Eastern Star and the Grand Representative of Oklahoma for Alabama. Susan was a lover of pets. She was also an Auburn football fan, and enjoyed watching baseball. Her favorite hobby was gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Jimmy Harville; two sons, Jimmy Harville II and Dallas Harville; four grandchildren, Georgia Harville, Noah Harville, Trey Harville, and Nicholas Goodman; two sisters, Robin (Michael) Blankenship and Cindy Kimbrough; one brother, James Allen (Kim) Waits; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, EC Gordon; mother, Estelle Waits; and one sister, Rebecca Riddle.
Pallbearers will be Noah Harville, Trey Harville, Paton Riddle, Alec Holloway, Allen Waits, and Michael Blankenship.
The family extends special thanks to nurses and staff at Madison Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lawrence County Animal Shelter.
