Loving wife of Larry for 39 years. Beloved step-mom of Margo (Tracy) Turner. Proud grandma of Alexandra and Maya. Dear sister of Cheri (John) Batchelor, Heidi (Dan) Moshinski. Cherished aunt of Heather Batchelor, Bob (Chrissy) Batchelor, C.J. (Shelly) Batchelor, Holly (Jake) Zyhowski and Steve (Sam) Moshinski. Susie was blessed with 10 great-nieces and nephews. Further survived by other family and many friends.
Susie was a dedicated teacher for 33 years. She was also very passionate about her work as a union negotiator.
Visitation at Hartson Funeral Home on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 10 am until the time of the service at 1 pm.
Following the service there will be a graveside service at Arlington Park Cemetery scheduled for 2:30 pm. There will not be a procession from the funeral home. Please meet at the cemetery gate

Susan was a special person who was kind and caring. She loved to share stories about her family. I was lucky enough to spend many hours with Susan at the bargaining table, attending many meetings as well as socializing with her & Larry. My condolences to all of you. May your many happy memories of Susan and your times together bring you comfort in the days ahead.
