Susan Elaine "Sue" Hosselrode

Cumberland, MD – Susan "Sue" Elaine (Ritchey) Hosselrode, 61, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, at her home.
Born August 19, 1963, in Cumberland, MD, Sue was the daughter of the late Harry "Henskie" T. Ritchey, and Elizabeth L. (Pick) Ritchey. She was also preceded in death by her brother: David Ritchey; and her brother-in-law: John Huckaby.
Sue is survived by her loving husband of 42 years: Robert "Bob" D. Hosselrode; her daughter: Ashley N. (Hosselrode) Dom and fiancé, Jason; her grandchildren: Maggie and Tenlee Phillips; her nephew: Tom Ritchey; her siblings: Thomas Ritchey and wife, Anne, and Barb Ritchey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her loving friends.
Sue graduated from Hyndman High School and later attended Allegany College of Maryland where she obtained her CNA. She later went on to work for Frostburg Village.
Sue enjoyed gardening, she especially loved planting and tending to tomatoes. She also enjoyed writing; her greatest joy was being a grandma.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 P.M.
