Susan Carol (Hurtt) Hussien, aged 64, of Ludlow, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at her home. Born on November 29, 1960, in Covington, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Homer H. and Etta Leola (Ellis) Hurtt.
Susan enjoyed a fulfilling career with American Airlines, where she worked in Reservations and Public Relations. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ludlow and exhibited her passion for community service through volunteering at Ludlow Schools for many years. Her involvement with the Ludlow Schools Athletic Boosters saw her serve in various capacities, reflecting her commitment to supporting youth and education.
She is survived by her loving husband, Eissa Hussien; her cherished daughter, Yasmina Marie Hussien; her sisters, Martha Millett and Linda Hurtt; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who appreciated her presence in their lives.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, located at 400 Linden Street, Ludlow, Kentucky. Funeral services will follow immediately at 1:00 PM, with interment to take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, Kentucky. The family is being assisted by Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Erlanger.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice, reflecting Susan's generous spirit and love for helping others.
